AutoHunter Spotlight: 1967 Chevy Chevelle 300 Deluxe wagon

The Chevy Chevelle came into production back in 1964 to compete with Ford’s Fairlane and was built on the A-body platform, the same as the Pontiac Tempest and Oldsmobile Cutlass.

In 1966, Chevy redesigned the Chevelle body with the memorable coke-bottle styling and continued producing the three different trim options – 300, 300 Deluxe and Malibu. The 300 Deluxe trim was offered as two-door sedans, four-door sedans and four-door wagons.

AutoHunter, the online classic and collector car auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, has one of the 1967 Chevelle 300 Deluxe wagons up for bidding.

Finished in white over a gold vinyl interior, this ’67 Chevelle 300 Deluxe recently underwent a complete restoration. It’s powered by a GM crate 350cid ZZ4 V8 engine paired with an M22 “Rock Crusher” 4-speed manual transmission.

Inside the car, you’ll find a retro-looking AM/FM stereo with kick panel-mounted speakers and a polished Hurst shifter for the 4-speed transmission mounted on the transmission tunnel.

During the restoration, a Super Sport style hood was added with chrome inserts while the front of the vehicle retains the factory quad headlight setup with a polished grille and chrome bumper. The seller also added aftermarket gauges to the center console base for readouts on oil pressure, water temperature and voltage. Upgrades done under the hood includes Hooker Super Comp headers, a dual exhaust system and an oversized aluminum radiator.

The auction ends on Monday, January 11th at 11:45 a.m. MST.
